We invite you to come celebrate with our community as Frances Albrier youth showcase
their understanding and appreciation of the powerful legacy of African American

Please join us to be a part of this can’t miss event! The Sports Jamboree is a showcase
of all City of Berkeley (COB) Recreation Division youth sports programs. Coaches from all
sports programs will be available throughout the event to answer any questions that
perspective participants might have. The jamboree will also give youth opportunities
to tryout all of the sports that we offer including specialty youth sports programs.
All are welcome to the Jamboree for an exciting Saturday.

Spring Egg Hunt Extravagnaza | All Ages |$10/youth   

Sat, April 20 - 9:30am- 1pm - Willard Park 2720 Hillegass Ave. 

You don’t want to miss the City of Berkeley’s annual Spring Egg Hunt Extravaganza. The
day will be filled with tons of fun activities, including a petting zoo, a visit with the
Spring Bunny, spring-themed arts and crafts, an interactive kid’s carnival with fun prizes
and Bunny Hop dance lessons! Youth participants will receive a basket to collect all their
spring goodies. Youth ages 11+ can participate in a fun scavenger hunt for prizes!

Berkeley Bay Festival | All Ages |Free   

Saturday, April 6 - 11am- 4pm - Shorebird Park Nature Center 

Spend a day by the Bay listening to music, taking free sailboat and Dragon boat
rides, eating tasty food, and exploring the Berkeley Marina. Visit booths sponsored
by fun and educational organizations from throughout the Bay Area to learn about
exciting things you and your family can do locally. Pick up a Passport to the Bay and
get it stamped as you move from activity to activity in each booth. Education,
entertainment, and fun for all ages.

Game of SKATE | All Ages |Free   

Saturday, April 13th - 12pm - 6pm - Skate Park, 5th and Harrison Street

The rules are simple. One player sets a trick and if landed, the next player attempts the
trick. If landed, the next player attempts the trick. If the trick is not landed, that player
gets an “S.” Once you get “SKATE” you’re out. Prizes and giveaways will be handed out
to top skaters.

12th Annual City of Berkeley Kids Triathlon

This swim, bike and running event is held on a completely off-street course. All participants

It’s time for spring cleaning! Get ready for summer by cleaning out your closets and
garages and join with neighbors for our largest community yard sale ever! One table,
two chairs and space will be provided for all participants registered to sell your previously
used items. Pre-registration is required. Register online. 

FEE to reserve space: $15 Berkeley residents / $18 non-residents

Saturday, June 1st - 9am - 5pm - San Pablo Park Basketball Courts

Join us at San Pablo Park for a fun-filled day of basketball! All teams are guaranteed at
least 2 games (pool play in the morning and elimination games in the afternoon). There
will be a mini skills clinic provided for youth, ages 5-7, during lunch! Pre-register online
or at a Recreation Hub office. Register by May 25 to save your spot! Registration is
also available on-site (on a first-come, first-served basis).

Participation Fee: Berkeley residents Free / Non-residents $5

All participants must have a completed registration form with parent signature to participate.
