PG&E is reporting a widespread outage affecting thousands of customers in Berkeley and many City buildings, including the Finance Customer Service Center and the Permit Service Center. Call respective City services for further details, or check the PG&E outage page. Power is expected to return by 12:45pm. Traffic lights that are not working should be treated as a four-way stop sign.

2021 Berkeley Marina Liveaboard Lottery

The Berkeley Marina will be accepting applications from the public until 3:00 PM on Thursday January 28th, 2021 for our 2021 Liveaboard Lottery Groups A - F.  We are only accepting applications for vessels sized 24’-87’ length overall.  (Measured including all appendages)  .  At this time there are no current liveaboard vacancies at the Berkeley Marina, and it is unknown when any vacancies may come up. The purpose of this Lottery is to provide new applicants an opportunity to join the current Liveaboard Lottery List, established in January, 2018. The current Liveaboard Lottery List can be found here  (Current as of 11/6/2020). 

For current slipholders at the Berkeley Marina, only applicants in good standing with the City of Berkeley will be considered; in compliance with Marina Rules and Regulations and not in arrears with dockage, fees, or fines.

The Liveaboard Lottery will be held outside the Marina Office on Friday, January 29th 2021 at 12:00 PM. This proceeding is open to the public but attendance is not necessary. Application submittals must be complete and include all required documentation as detailed in the 2021 Liveaboard Lottery Opportunity Notice. Please complete the  Berkeley Marina Liveaboard Applicationand include it in your application package submittal. Successful applicants must adhere to Berkeley Marina’s  Marina Rules and Regulations to maintain good standing. For more information please contact the Marina Office at (510) 981-6740.
