  • Face masks required indoors, with limited exemptions

    The Health Officer issued a Health Order requiring masks indoors in public settings, with limited exemptions. On December 29, 2021, the limited masking exemption for vaccinated people in certain settings is no longer in effect. Everyone, regardless of their vaccination status, must again mask in all indoor public settings.

  • Vaccination required in certain businesses

    The Health Officer issued an updated Health Order that requires employees of certain businesses to an up-to-date vaccine status while also requiring a portion of those businesses to also verify proof of full vaccination for patrons who are at least 5 years old.

  • Local and Statewide restrictions are in effect 

    Statewide restrictions on most activities were lifted as of June 15, 2021. Employers and businesses must continue to follow Cal/OSHA safety guidelines, state and local vaccination guidelines.
