The City of Berkeley Health Officer has ordered all residents to shelter at home, leaving only to receive or provide essential services, starting 12:01 am on Tuesday, March 17. PG&E is reporting a widespread outage affecting thousands of customers in Berkeley and many City buildings, including the Finance Customer Service Center and the Permit Service Center. Call respective City services for further details, or check the PG&E outage page. Power is expected to return by 12:45pm. Traffic lights that are not working should be treated as a four-way stop sign.

Renovation Projects

at San Pablo Park

Latest Update: July 18, 2019

These projects include the renovation of the tennis courts, the ages 2-5 and 5-12 playgrounds, and the planning and design of the Frances Albrier Community Center.  

A public meeting was held on June 9, 2018 to introduce current and planned projects and to gather feedback from the community to develop conceptual designs for the playground and tennis court renovation projects.

6-9-18 Meeting Agenda 

A follow-up meeting was held April 13, 2019 to share three conceptual designs developed for the 2-5 and 5-12 playgrounds and potential color schemes for the tennis courts and gather feedback on a preferred design.

A third meeting was held on July 13, 2019 to present the preferred design and provide information on the next steps, timeline, and what to expect during construction.
