Item 7. Information and Announcements

a. Report from the Executive Director: Registration payments are $130,000 ahead of where they were at this time last year; the Board's website is the 10th most popular COB site; and that he accepted an invitation to speak before the Black Property Owners Association, where he discussed Board policies and procedures, and answered many of the owners' questions.

Update on the status of two items:  

The Board expressed an interest in including on a future agenda: a proposal to adopt a motion on the Iraq War is postponed pending a RSB Minutes June 16, 2003 report from the Peace and Justice Commission to the City Council, and an update on the Residential Housing Safety Program from Housing Director Steve Barton is delayed by the possibility that the City Council will make changes to the program.

b. Committee meeting announcements and reports. (Committee meetings held at Rent Board offices, 2001 Center Street, 2nd Floor Law Library unless otherwise noted.)

(1) Budget and Personnel - No meeting scheduled.

(2) Outreach - Wednesday, July 2 at 6 p.m.
