PG&E is reporting a widespread outage affecting thousands of customers in Berkeley and many City buildings, including the Finance Customer Service Center and the Permit Service Center. Traffic lights that are not working should be treated as a four-way stop sign.

Staff will be in the 1st floor lobby of 2180 Milvia approximately 20 minutes prior to the bid opening to receive bids. Prior to this time, in the absence of city staff, bids may be dropped off at the security kiosk with the guard.

Public bid openings will be held at 2180 Milvia, immediately after the deadline for submission. City staff will determine the specific location and escort the public.

Attendees at any public bid opening shall maintain recommended social requirements, such as maintaining face coverings and separation (six feet minimum), for the duration of the meeting in accordance with City of Berkeley Covid-19 protocols.

a) CIPP lining (Method "A") of approximately 376 linear feet of 6-inch diameter sanitary sewer main.
b) CIPP Lining (Method "A") of approximately 1,622 linear feet of 8-inch diameter sanitary sewer mains.
c) Pipe-bursting (Method "B") rehabilitation of approximately 114 linear feet of 6-inch and 8-inch diameter sanitary sewer mains
d) Pipe-bursting (Method "B") rehabilitation of approximately 1,145 linear feet of 10- inch diameter sanitary sewer mains.
e) Traditional Open-trench (Method "C") replacement of approximately 340 linear feet of 4-inch, 6-inch, and 8-inch diameter sanitary sewer mains.
f) Traditional Open-trench (Method "C") replacement of approximately 170 linear feet of 10-inch diameter sanitary sewer main.
g) Traditional Open-trench (Method "C") replacement of approximately 607 linear feet of 18-in diameter sanitary sewer main.

Site access is restricted unless the Bidder is accommodated by City employee during this site visit.
