WHO IS THIS FRAUD SUSPECT?

Berkeley, California (Tuesday, January 22, 2019) - suspect photo1,19-02735

On January 17th between 10:30 am and 11:30 am, the suspect in the attached photographs stood outside of Safeway (1550 Shattuck Avenue)—impersonating a Meals on Wheels employee.  The suspect was asking people passing by to make donations.  When Meals on Wheels’ staff confronted the suspect, the suspect ran away and has not been located. 

The suspect was described as an African American male, in his 60’s, about 6’ tall, wearing an older version of a Meals on Wheels white shirt, white track pants and shoes—possibly associated with gray Ford Taurus.
