PG&E is reporting a widespread outage affecting thousands of customers in Berkeley and many City buildings, including the Finance Customer Service Center and the Permit Service Center. People’s Park is owned, managed, and maintained by the University of CaliforniaDeeply rooted in Berkeley’s history, People’s Park was created by community members in the 1960s and includes a large lawn, community gardens, a basketball court, performance stage, play features for children, and places for sitting.
