Ohlone Park West School-age Play Area Celebrates Reopening

Photos Archive

Community, with  Mayor Tom Bates, Councilmembers Linda Maio and Dona Spring, and the City of Berkeley staff  celebrated playground re-opening on October 10, 2004

The playground is located in Ohlone Park near Grant Street.   Two sculpture-like climbers now stand where formerly unsafe and outdated play equipments had been installed.  The new path and the rubberized surfacing help make these facilities usable by all.

The City of Berkeley thanks the many neighbors and community members who took the time to participate in the process and help make the playground right!
