PG&E is reporting a widespread outage affecting thousands of customers in Berkeley and many City buildings, including the Finance Customer Service Center and the Permit Service Center. Call respective City services for further details, or check the PG&E outage page. Power is expected to return by 12:45pm. Traffic lights that are not working should be treated as a four-way stop sign.

Willard Clubhouse

Most City buildings, including Willard Clubhouse, are closed to the public. Most recreation programs are canceled. You can register online to be on a wait list for the Summer 2020 Berkeley Fun Camp.

Customers with reservations, program or activity registrations, or permits that have been cancelled will automatically be issued a refund. Please note that current processing times for refunds may exceed eight weeks due to staff limitations. If you would like to donate a portion of your registration fee, you may do so by sending an email to recreation@cityofberkeley.info including the amount they would like to donate.

Willard Clubhouse is located inside of Willard Park at 2720 Hillegass Ave. in the Campus/ Elmwood area. The Clubhouse is a small, one room community clubhouse used in conjunction with our recreation programs. Willard Clubhouse offers a Summer and School Year Program as well as a Playground Program.

Willard Afterschool Program
Homework Assistance, organized games, arts and crafts and a daily snack is offered to participants. Priority is given to Berkeley residents and space is limited so please sign up today. For more information call (510) 981-5150 or the playground at (510) 981-6730.

 

Refund Policy

All requests for refunds must be directed to the Recreation & Youth Services Manager, Recreation Division, 2701 Telegraph Ave, Berkeley, CA 94705. The original receipt must be submitted with a written request for a refund. The request must state the reason for the reason for the refund, and the date, time and location of the program. The Recreation and Youth Services Manager will render a decision to either: 1) refund the fee; 2) pro-rate the fee; 3) apply the fees to another session program; or 4) deny the request.

No refunds or credit will be granted without 7 days notice prior to the start of class or date of reservation. The City will deduct 25% of the amount paid from the refund to cover administrative expenses or will add a minimum of $10.00 service charge.
