POOL STATUS: King Pool is currently CLOSED for Winter Maintenance. West Campus Pool is currently OPEN for regularly scheduled operational hours, that include King Pool programming while King Pool is closed (please see schedule below).

General Information: The City of Berkeley Aquatics Program operates two outdoor, heated swimming pools:
The City offers a wide variety of Aquatics Programs at each facility, including Lap Swim, Family Swim, Red Cross Learn to Swim classes, Coached Swim teams (Berkeley Aquatic Masters and the Berkeley Barracudas), Fitness Workouts, Independent Exercise Programs, Senior Disabled Quiet Swim, Senior Exercise Classes, and Private Lessons. These facilities can be reserved for private group rentals, and also host several annual special events, including our kid's Triathlon and Derby Days. Shower policy (All Programs): In order to conserve water, please limit your shower to 5 minutes or less. Thanks for your cooperation

Program Registration: Many programs are available for online registration, which can be found here: _. Some programs are drop-in only, or require in-person registration. For additional information, you can see all of the City of Berkeley Aquatic Program offerings for each season by viewing the City of Berkeley Activity Guide. You can also contact one of our Swim Centers or the Recreation Administration office, at (510) 981-5150 or recreation@cityofberkeley.info. For in-person cash registrations, we accept exact change or check payments only. Credit cards are ONLY accepted at the Willard Recreation Customer Service Hub located at 2701 Telegraph Ave.
Scholarships
Scholarships are available provided applicant meets eligibility and verification requirements. You must submit an application and documentation at the time of registration. Scholarship applications can be obtained at any of the Community Centers or at Recreation Administration, and on the website.
Refund Policy
All requests for refunds must be directed to the Recreation & Youth Services Manager, Recreation Division, 2701 Telegraph Avenue, Berkeley, CA 94705. The original receipt must be submitted with a written request for a refund. The request must state the reason for the refund, and the date, time and location of the program. The Recreation and Youth Services Manager will render a decision to either: 1) refund the fee; 2) pro-rate the fee; 3) apply the fees to another session or program; or 4) deny the request. No refunds or credit will be granted without 7 days notice prior to start of class or date of reservation. The City will deduct 25% of the amount paid from the refund to cover administration expenses or will add a minimum $10.00 service charge.

Aquatic Program Payment Policy
While many programs are available for online registration, please note that at this time, our Aquatics Facilities can accept exact change payments only, and our Swim Centers are unable to make change. For cash payments, please pay exact admission fee. Checks should be made payable to the City of Berkeley. If checks do not have an address pre-printed on it, we cannot accept it. At this time, we cannot accept debit or credit cards. Thank you.
Note: The City of Berkeley is not responsible for lost or stolen items at our Aquatic facilities. Please bring a lock and put all valuables in one of our on deck lockers.
