PG&E is reporting a widespread outage affecting thousands of customers in Berkeley and many City buildings, including the Finance Customer Service Center and the Permit Service Center. Call respective City services for further details, or check the PG&E outage page. Power is expected to return by 12:45pm. Traffic lights that are not working should be treated as a four-way stop sign.

Tenant Inspection Requests are reviewed during normal business hours, Phone Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM -- Walk-In Hours: 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM - - - - - - - - - - - Housing Inspector Hours: Phone Hours: 8:00-9:00 AM -- Walk-In Hours: By Appointment Only - - - - - - -. Notification of the scheduled investigation date / time will be mailed to you within 10 business days of your submittal. You / tenant must be present in order to provide the inspector access on the scheduled date / time. The property owner and / or owner representatives are also encouraged to attend the scheduled investigation.

If you are not the tenant, but rather a property owner or owner representative wishing to schedule an inspection as an alternative to Schedule A for RHSP self-certification inspections, please go to the Property Owner Inspection Request.
