Oral Health Program 

The Oral Health Program provides dental health services, education and outreach to eligible elementary schools in Berkeley. 

oral healthThe Oral Health Program of the City of Berkeley is a collaboration between the Berkeley Public Health Division, and the Alameda County Public Health Department, Office of Dental Health.  It is funded to provide dental health services, education, and outreach to eligible elementary schools in Berkeley.   

This program is administered through the Child Health and Disability Prevention (CHDP) and School Linked Health Services programs.



Oral Health Program Services    

  • Oral Health Screenings
  • Outreach in all Berkeley Unfied School District elementary schools
  • Sealants and outreach to 2nd and 5th graders in all 11 Berkeley public elementary schools
  • Assistance with dental appointments, referrals and insurance applications
