PG&E is reporting a widespread outage affecting thousands of customers in Berkeley and many City buildings, including the Finance Customer Service Center and the Permit Service Center. Call respective City services for further details, or check the PG&E outage page. Power is expected to return by 12:45pm. Traffic lights that are not working should be treated as a four-way stop sign.

The Mental Health Program at Berkeley High School Health Center has counselors who offer students a variety of services aimed at providing students with a safe place to discuss topics affecting adolescent mental well being.

Mental Health Program

In addition to individual, on-site counseling, the Mental Health Program engages in outreach activities including campus canvassing and student interaction, providing classroom presentations and facilitation of student support groups.  Counselors also serve as referral sources for students requiring more extensive mental health services.

The Mental Health Team

The Mental Health Team is made up City of Berkeley Public Health Division and Mental Health Division staff and interns.  Interns are bachelor degree level masters candidates or hold a graduate degree for their masters in social work or counseling and are committed to providing superior counseling services to adolescents in the Berkeley community.
