Transport to Senior Centers

For seniors that are Berkeley residents who have difficulty finding transportation to Berkeley Senior Centers, the passenger vans provide door-to-door pick-up and drop-off services.  Space is limited, and provided daily on a phone reservation system.

Field Trips

North and South Berkeley Senior Centers provide a robust calendar of day trips to affordable local activities and shows.  Each senior center has an advisory Trip Planning Committee comprised of Senior Center participants.  At the North Berkeley Senior Center, participants can register for a trip lottery on the first workday of the month.  At South Berkeley Senior Center, trip spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
