PG&E is reporting a widespread outage affecting thousands of customers in Berkeley and many City buildings, including the Finance Customer Service Center and the Permit Service Center. Call respective City services for further details, or check the PG&E outage page. Power is expected to return by 12:45pm. Traffic lights that are not working should be treated as a four-way stop sign.

City of Berkeley Senior Centers feature space that can be reserved and rented by private community members, organizations, and City departments and commissions. Each facility has a large dining room, a multi-purpose room, and several medium and small classrooms available for rent.

  1. A Facility Tour is strongly encouraged. Please see below for hours.
    a) Self-guided tour during normal business hours.
    b) Staff-guided tour. Appointment only.

  2. Rental Appointment (30 - 45 minutes)
    a) Facility tour (15 minutes)

    c) Review and sign the rental agreement
    d) Provide payment
