Berkeley, California (Wednesday, January 13, 2010) - On January 12, 2010 at approximately 10:45 p.m., the Berkeley Police Department (BPD) responded to a stabbing which had just occurred on the 3200 block of Idaho Street in South Berkeley.  The victim, a 20 year old Berkeley resident, reported that the father of her two-year-old daughter broke into her apartment, punched her and her daughter, and, in the ensuing struggle, cut her with a knife.    

The suspect has been identified as:

Casey Jones


6’0, 160 lbs,

of Oakland

Jones is wanted for Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Domestic Violence, Home Invasion Robbery, Willful Harm or Injury to a Child, and keeping a victim from using a cellular phone during a crime.  Jones should be considered armed and dangerous.
