Registered voters must vote at their assigned polling place.  Attempting to vote at a polling place other than your assigned polling place will necessitate you having to vote a “provisional ballot.”

If you have a need for a polling place that is wheelchair accessible and you have been assigned to a polling place that is not accessible, you may either:

  1. Contact the Registrar’s Office, (510) 267-VOTE (8683), so that they may assign you to another location; or
  2. Request an Vote-By-Mail Ballot.

If you are going to be unable to get to a polling place on Election Day, you may also vote anytime during the early voting period at the Alameda County Registrar of Voters, 1225 Fallon Street, G-1, Oakland, CA 94612, (510) 272-6933, as long as you are registered to vote anywhere in Alameda County.
