Public Health Nursing & Case Management

Public Health Nurses are Registered Nurses who have additional training and certification to work in the community and the field of public health.  They assist individuals and families in Berkeley with health-related needs through home-based case management services.

Child Health and Disability Prevention (CHDP/ EPSDT preventive services)   

Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Case Management

Nurse of the Day Information and Referral Services

Health Care and Services for the Homeless 

HIV Surveillance

Who is the program for?  Residents of Berkeley

Cost for Services:  Based on ability to pay.  Certain income qualifications apply for some services.

Languages Spoken:  English, Spanish, Japanese, Amharic.  Interpretation is available for many others.
