Berkeley CERT Academy Weekend

Are you prepared for large scale emergencies?  Are you equipped to help your community when disaster strikes?  Get CERT trained and get ready to respond.

Berkeley CERT offers an opportunity to complete Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training all in one weekend.  Participants will complete the full 20 hours of CERT training from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon.  Instruction will be both didactic and skill manipulative; in other words, be prepared to learn from the book as well as on the Fire Department training grounds.  Class enrollment is free to anyone who lives or works in Berkeley.  You must be 18 years of age or older to enroll.

Participants will be required to take the entire 20-hour curriculum during this weekend and will receive a certificate of completion.
