PG&E is reporting a widespread outage affecting thousands of customers in Berkeley and many City buildings, including the Finance Customer Service Center and the Permit Service Center. Call respective City services for further details, or check the PG&E outage page. Power is expected to return by 12:45pm. Traffic lights that are not working should be treated as a four-way stop sign.

In response to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, most commission meetings have been suspended for a 60-day period (through May 11, 2020) by recommendation of Berkeley’s Public Health Officer and Director of Emergency Services. Commissions may convene if the Director of Emergency Services determines there is time-sensitive, legally-mandated business to complete. Information regarding upcoming meetings will be posted on this page and on the community calendar.
