General Information:
The Agenda & Rules Committee is charged with reviewing agenda items and legislation in the following areas:

  • Review items for completeness 
  • Send items either to Council agenda, policy committee, or back to author
  • Set agendas
  • Review rules and procedures and open government policies
  • Consider items not readily assignable to a policy committee
 

Legislation reviewed by the Committee is forwarded to the full City Council for consideration and possible action.  Additional information regarding the Agenda & Rules Committee duties and functions may be found in the City Council Rules of Procedure and Order available from the City Council homepage.
