BERKELEY RECREATION ACTIVITIES TO HELP YOU THRIVE
Find activities, programs for all ages

Berkeley, California (Thursday, October 31, 2019) - Find classes, activities and events for adults, kids and families using the 2019 Fall/Holiday Recreation Activity Guide, which lists affordable, fun and engaging recreation programs throughout Berkeley.

There is something for everyone, whether it's swimming laps at the pool, breaking a sweat during one of our fitness classes, learning how to skateboard, or volunteering for a shoreline cleanup.

Most of the programs and activities take place at the City of Berkeley's sports fields, tennis courts, community centers, swimming pools and at our Skate Park.

Visit www.cityofberkeley.info/activity_guide, a page that's updated each season to keep you in the loop on all of the fun and exciting programs we are offering. Sign up for programs on our new Online Registration portal.

For children 0-5 year olds, the City offers a variety of infant, tot and pre-k programs, including our free Together Wee Play drop-in program, our popular Super Soccer Stars classes, and our Music Together classes, where you and your child can sing, dance, play and create music together!

There is no shortage of programs for elementary aged children here in Berkeley.  From afterschool programs to tennis lessons, to youth sports leagues, we have everything you need to keep your child active.  If you're looking for more specialized instruction, we offer a variety of options from drawing, to chess, to our jewelry making classes. Want to keep your children busy during Thanksgiving or Winter Break?  You've come to the right place. The Recreation Division offers several Holiday Camp programs, including Winter Break Day Camp Style, Skate or Basketball Camps, School's Out Super Fun Day one-day camps, and Make Me A Pro All Sports Camp programs!

Our Teen programs offer a fun and safe environment for social and recreational activities like cooking, dancing, sports, leadership classes, music production and photography!

In order to support adult needs for physical activity and wellness, we provide a variety of adult classes and activities, including fitness classes like Yoga and Hoop Dance, Martial Arts like Kendo and Aikido, and a variety of swim programs and tennis lessons.
