Berkeley, California (Thursday, August 01, 2019) - Join us on Saturday, August 10, 2019 for the Saturday Blues Fest, featuring a series of local performers who'll perform at the Ohlone Park baseball field.

While listening to authentic blues music by local performers, we'll also have activities for the whole family: a Kids' Zone with arts & crafts, a bubble guy, free snow cones & popcorn, a bounce house, rainbow art, and face painting. Local vendors will sell food and merchandise.2019-08-01 Blues Fest at Ohlone Park

The performers will be KP Project, featuring Willie G; Tamsen Donner Band and a series of soloists who perform under the banner of Ladies Sing the Blues: Bex Grimes, Marina Crouse, Tia Carrol, Rhonda Benin and Terri Odabi

Live performances begin at 12:30 pm, so come early and bring your blankets and low back chairs to enjoy music on the lawn at our beautiful park. All events and music are family-friendly and provide recreation activities for children.

Saturday, September 21, 1:00pm - 4:00pmHip Hop at Grove Park Ball Field Area, 1730 Oregon StreetThis event is dedicated to the teens and will showcase up and coming artists with a hip hop dance battle, and rap performances by Nef the pharaoh, LOE gino & C5, spoken word by Flax from Youth Speaks, a graffiti art contest, and much more!

Saturday, October 5, 11:00am - 4:00pmHarvest Festival at Cedar Rose Park, 1300 Rose Street (at Hopkins).The annual Harvest Festival features a Food Expo, Garden Expo, Community Resources, food contests and demos, and a Kids' Zone with face painting, bounce house, balloon art, pumpkin and scarecrow making and much more!  Stage performances by Get Lucky, Motor Dude Zydeco, and Levi Seacer & Smash City Band. 


The City of Berkeley's Music-In-the-Park Concerts are just one of many events provided throughout the year by the City's Parks, Recreation and Waterfront Department, which offers dozens of camps, classes and other activities for people of all ages.  Get a glimpse of the Recreation Division's offerings in the Activity Guide and sign up via our   online registration portal. Call 510-981-5150 for more information.  No alcohol or controlled substances allowed.
