Kala Art Institute Art Gallery, 2990 San Pablo

This annual exhibition is an expression of the key role that art plays in the life of the city and the economic vitality of the community. It is managed by the City of Berkeley Public Art Program and funded by the 1.5% for art assessed on construction of City-owned properties. The Kala Art Institute, the Civic Arts Commission, and Civic Arts Program collaborate to produce this show.

An opening to celebrate the artists will take place in March 2019, and the art will be on display for approximately one year.

Deadline: January 14, 2019 by 5:00pm

To apply, view the guidelines and application form.

For questions about the Call for Artists please contact Claire McPherson at Kala Art Institute at claire@kala.org or by phone at (510) 841-7000.
