PG&E is reporting a widespread outage affecting thousands of customers in Berkeley and many City buildings, including the Finance Customer Service Center and the Permit Service Center. Call respective City services for further details, or check the PG&E outage page. Power is expected to return by 12:45pm. Traffic lights that are not working should be treated as a four-way stop sign.

Parks concert series continues through summer

Berkeley, California (Wednesday, June 20, 2018) - Come bring your kids this Saturday to a music concert designed with music, performance and other activities that keeps them in mind.

This Saturday's concert will feature Andy Z, an award-winning children's performer and singer/songwriter who combines music, movement, storytelling and character puppets to engage kids and families.KC

As with the rest of the kids concerts we're calling "KidChella," this concert is free and was created to be more intimate and accessible to children 6 and under. Each concert will have an interactive children's performance, as well as some arts and crafts, bubble station and face painting. 

Families are encouraged to come enjoy the ambiance of our local parks, bring blankets and maybe even a picnic snack to enjoy. Sponsored by the City's Department of Parks, Recreation and Waterfront, KidChella music series is sure to be one for the books!
