USE COMMUNITY MEETINGS AND SURVEY TO GUIDE A FUTURE CITY WEBSITE

Berkeley, California (Monday, January 09, 2017) - As we look to redesign cityofberkeley.info, you can play a part by taking our user survey and coming to one of our community meetings.

Our goal is to make the website easier to use and navigate while also increasing the ability to conduct business or complete transactions with the City.

You can take the survey through January 15th. It allows everyone to give as much input or guidance as they would like to give.

We'll be looking to dig further into that feedback, get more input and look at solutions at our two community workshops on January 18th and January 19th. We'll discuss design (the look and feel of the site), the content and the online services we deliver. City staff and a consultant will:

  • Identify challenges with the current City website
  • Identify consequences of website challenges, e.g., quantitative and qualitative impacts
  • Identify community-driven solutions for solving existing challenges
  • Identify benefits of implementing suggested solutions to the Berkeley community

The City website should reflect the community's needs. Your participation can help!
