Woman Stabbed During Burglary

Berkeley, California (Sunday, November 12, 2006) - On Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at about 5:00 p.m., Berkeley Police Department (BPD) patrol officers were alerted to an assault at a home in the 1100 block of Parker Street. Responding Officers found the resident suffering from stab wounds. BPD Detectives are piecing together details of the investigation, thus public information is limited

The incident appears to have been an interrupted residential burglary. The resident saw the suspect exiting her home and subsequently confronted him. The suspect reacted by stabbing the resident. Fortunately, the victim’s wounds are not life threatening. The suspect fled on foot towards San Pablo Avenue.

Black male

5’-06”, thin build

Black hair, brown eyes

Dark hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans
