Visit Berkeley, formerly the Berkeley Convention & Visitors Bureau and Film Office, serves the tourism industry. It cultivates and promotes Berkeley as a desirable destination for meetings, conventions, tour groups, and leisure travel. The site also includes a great map to find Berkeley’s shopping districts.


 Berkeley Startup Cluster

The Berkeley Startup Cluster strives to make Berkeley a more vibrant, accessible and equitable place for startups to launch and grow. A partnership between the City of Berkeley, UC Berkeley, the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, the Downtown Berkeley Association, the Berkeley Chamber of Commerce, and many Berkeley incubators, accelerators and co-working spaces, the network sponsors events, advocates for policies, and undertakes other marketing and public education activities that support Berkeley’s early stage, high-growth innovation and technology businesses.

 California Life Sciences Association

The California Life Sciences Association (CLSA) advances California’s world-leading life sciences innovation ecosystem by advocating for effective national, state and local public policies and supporting entrepreneurs and life sciences businesses. With offices in Sacramento, San Diego, South San Francisco, Los Angeles and Washington DC, CLSA works closely with industry, government, academia and others to shape public policy, improve access to innovative technologies and grow California’s life sciences economy. CLSA serves biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device and diagnostics companies, research universities and institutes, investors and service providers throughout the Golden State. CLSA was founded in 2015 when the Bay Area Bioscience Association (BayBio) and the California Healthcare Institute (CHI) merged.

The East Bay Bioscience Network aims to bring together professionals working in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries by providing networking opportunities in the East Bay, from Alameda to Livermore.
