The Berkeley Chamber is a non-profit membership organization that works to advance opportunities for member businesses and improve the business climate in Berkeley by helping local businesses to make connections with potential customers and suppliers, stay abreast of relevant City laws, regulations and infrastructure improvements, influence policy, and find community partners. 


Buy Local Berkeley Buy Local

Buy Local Berkeley conducts niche marketing campaigns, public education and events to promote local, independent businesses. In addition, the network hosts business-to-business networking mixers, learning lunches on fundraising, staffing, marketing and other basic business skills, and other opportunities for information-sharing.


Women Entrepreneurs of Berkeley - Connect – Learn – Lead

Women Entrepreneurs of Berkeley (WEB) helps connect innovative women at different stages of their careers with the resources and networks they need to accelerate their businesses. A subgroup within the Berkeley Chamber, membership is open to: 

• women who have started a company in Berkeley, 
• women who have a significant ownership position or decision-making power in a Berkeley-based company, 
• intrapreneurs (who are leading innovative programs or initiatives within Berkeley-based companies), and
• female Berkeley residents that meet any of the previous three criteria.     

WEB publishes regular newsletters that feature news about Berkeley’s women entrepreneurs and information about upcoming awards competitions, funding opportunities, accelerator application deadlines, events, and other resources for women entrepreneurs. Programming includes structured networking mixers, informal gatherings at women-owned businesses, educational workshops and opportunities to serve as community mentors and role models for Berkeley’s youth.

Visit Berkeley, formerly the Berkeley Convention & Visitors Bureau and Film Office, cultivates and promotes Berkeley as a desirable destination for meetings, conventions, tour groups, and leisure travel. The site also includes a great map to find Berkeley’s shopping districts.
