The Berkeley Marina Area Specific Plan (BMASP) Project is a two plus year planning project to provide a path for achieving a financially self-sustainable, publicly owned marina that preserves and enhances infrastructure to support current and future community needs, while adapting to climate change and promoting environmental stewardship. The public process for this project will involve a series of small focus group meetings and large public community meetings to gather public feedback. To-date, four small focus group meetings were held in October 2020, and the first large community meeting was held via zoom on Thursday, January 28, 2021, 6:30pm. The presentation slides and notes can be found below. The next scheduled chance for public feedback is a City Council Work session on February 16, 2021 at 6 PM. The second large community meeting is expected to take place in August/September 2021.
