PG&E is reporting a widespread outage affecting thousands of customers in Berkeley and many City buildings, including the Finance Customer Service Center and the Permit Service Center. Call respective City services for further details, or check the PG&E outage page. Power is expected to return by 12:45pm. Traffic lights that are not working should be treated as a four-way stop sign.

THE BERKELEY HOUSING AUTHORITY NO LONGER OWNS ANY UNITS. THE UNITS ARE BEING MANAGED BY THE NEW OWNERS SINCE FEBRUARY 2014.

The Berkeley Housing Authority operated 75 units of low-income public housing in 14 sites around Berkeley. These units were built in the 1980s and were geared toward larger, low-income families. Accordingly, there were 44 three-bedroom units and 31 four-bedroom units. 

The Berkeley Housing Authority contracted with EJP and Overland, Pacific & Cutler, Inc. to assist with the disposition/reposition of BHA's  Low Income Public Housing Units.  Below are reports and informational items regarding the LIPH disposition:
