WHO: Community organizations that represent or serve people with disabilities or seniors in Berkeley
WHAT: BEACON is a hub for information sharing and collaboration between the City of Berkeley and community organizations that represent and work with people with disabilities and seniors
Basic Membership- Regular communication regarding disaster planning and preparedness activities and targeted information following disasters
Active Membership- Participation in regularly scheduled meetings to collaborate on the creation of events for organizations and individuals and participate in inclusive planning
WHERE: Organizations that serve people in the City of Berkeley
WHY: To provide relevant, timely information about disaster planning and response to the people of Berkeley through the organizations they already trust and rely on, and to provide an opportunity for inclusive community disaster planning.
HOW: Fill out the registration form below and submit it to the Office of Emergency Services at 2100 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, 2nd Floor, Berkeley, CA 94704 or email the completed form to oes@cityofberkeley.info
