The programs of Energy and Sustainable Development are implemented through partnerships with local and regional government agencies, local Business leaders, the University of California at Berkeley, and non-profit organizations. 

Sustainable Berkeley is a multi-sector, local collaborative dedicated to accelerating our community’s sustainability goals.

Bay Area Green Business Program certifies business that implement eco-efficient industry best practices

Build It Green provides information and referrals regarding green building and design

 

Pacific Gas and Electric, as one of the largest combination natural gas and electric utilities in the United States, serves approximately 15 million people in northern and central California
Sustainable Business Alliance is a non-profit organization that provides networking, joint purchasing and marketing and advocacy services for green businesses in Berkeley

Stop Waste is a public agency dedicated to achieving the most environmentally sound solid waste management and resource conservation program for the people of Alameda County

University of California, Berkeley - Chancellors Advisory Committee on Sustainability  promotes environmental management and sustainable development at UC Berkeley.
Recycling Market Development Zone (RMDZ) is a joint effort of  Berkeley and Oakland to encourage manufacturers to use recycled materials
The Teleosis Institute is an educational not-for-profit organization devoted to Green Health Care—sustainable medical practices that are good for you and your local environment.
