     9:30 a.m. to Noon

WHERE: South Berkeley Senior Center

     2939 Ellis Street at Ashby

 The community is invited to discuss a variety of issues affecting Berkeley, including:

• Public Safety

• Youth Services

• Health

• Education

• Opportunities in the Community

• Community Concerns and Issues

There will be a brief presentation by Olis Simmons and Demetria Huntsman of Youth Uprising and Sally Hindman of YaYa California. On the panel and otherwise available for comment are:

• Max Anderson, Berkeley City Council Member

• Karen Hemphill, Berkeley Unified School District Board Member

• Doug Hambleton, Chief of the Berkeley Police Department 

• Angela Gallegos-Castillo, Assistant to the City Manager

• Vicky Breckwich-Vasquez, Berkeley Public Health

• David Manson, Deputy District Director to Sen. Don Perata

Light refreshments and child care will be available.
