Berkeley, California (Friday, September 28, 2007)-- Binational Health Week, being celebrated by the City of Berkeley and other health agencies, will kick off October 13-21. 

The weeklong series of events, celebrated throughout the Bay Area, California, the United States and Latin American countries, will focus on wellness through physical activity and improved mental health, with the goal of improving upon the health disparities in minority communities, and more specifically, the Latino and/or immigrant communities. All are welcome!

Wellness Workshops, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, October 16, 17 & 18, 7:00PM - 8:30PM West Berkeley Senior Center, 1900 Sixth Street

Family Activity Day, Saturday October 20, Cesar Chavez Park at the Berkeley Marina, beginning with a 1.25 mile walk @ 9:00AM, followed by organized games and activities.
