Berkeley, California (Thursday, September 13, 2007)-- Three (3) City of Berkeley Public Health Division services will be closed to the public on Monday, September 17. 

The Public Health Clinic at 830 University, the Berkeley High School Health Center, and Vital Records Office (birth and death certificates) will be closed on that day so that Division staff can be released to participate in a Division Retreat. These services will resume on Tuesday as normally scheduled. 

Nurse of the Day Program, a service that provides free counseling, referrals, resource information , and assistance with accessing needed health services for Berkeley residents, will remain open. To speak to a nurse, call (510) 981-5300 between the hours of 8 a.m. -12 p.m. and 1-5 p.m.
