Berkeley,
California (Monday, July 30, 2007) - The
City of Berkeley Mental Health Administration invites your comments
and feedback on the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Draft
Implementation Progress Report.
In accordance with a state mandate to
report on Community Services and Supports (CSS) activities, the
Draft Implementation Progress Report is being disseminated for a
30-day public review and comment period.
The focus of this report, is on activities that took place
from the date of approval of the CSS Three-Year Program and
Expenditure Plan through December 31, 2006.
The 30 day public comment period begins
on July 30 and will run through August 30. Upon
completion of the review period, a public hearing through the
Berkeley Mental Health Commission will be held on August 30.
For more detailed information on how to
review and provide feedback on the Draft Implementation Progress
Report, the public is invited to view the MHSA website at www.ci.berkeley.ca.us/mentalhealth/prop63.html.
A copy the Draft Report will also be located at the Berkeley
Central Public Library located at: 2090 Kittredge Street.
Following the public hearing, comments
and feedback will be addressed, and a final report will be submitted
to the State Department of Mental Health.
