Berkeley,
California (Monday, July 16, 2007) - Children
who are 18 years old or younger are invited to
eat free in Berkeley.
The City of
Berkeley, in collaboration with the State of California
Department of Education, will offer free summer lunches and
snacks to all Berkeley students. The Summer Lunch Program
operates Monday through Friday from June 18th to August 10th. Lunch
is served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and snacks are
available from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.:

MLK Youth Services Center, 1730 Oregon Street
James Kenney Recreation Center, 1720 8th Street
Strawberry Creek Park, 1255 Allston Way
