The purpose of the Task Force is to develop a citywide vision for health and health services in Berkeley and to issue a report that includes action recommendations that will address the current and projected health care needs of Berkeley residents.

The Task Force will review the current status and future plans for mental, physical and community health services in Berkeley. Encompassed in the analysis will be services delivered through Alameda County Health Department; Alta Bates-Summit Medical Center; Kaiser; Children’s Hospital; Lifelong Medical Care, Inc.; Byron Rumford Clinic; UCB Tang Center; and, the City of Berkeley Health and Human Services Department. The Task Force will identify opportunities for, and gaps in services and develop recommendations for improved service coordination and delivery.
