Adopt a Storm Drain
To help prevent flooding and waste backup, consider partnering with the City to adopt a storm drain. A clean storm drain prevents flooding, improves traffic flow, and maintains pedestrian access, especially for children, those with disabilities and the elderly. A clean storm drain improves the quality of the Bay. To obtain liability release forms and a start-up kit (gloves, rain poncho, rake, scoop and garbage bags) contact the City of Berkeley Engineering Division, Adopt-A-Drain Coordinator, 1947 Center Street, 4th Floor, Berkeley 94704.
