Public Comment:
David Kirwin. Commented on tritum exit signs as safe.
Pamela Sihvola.
Committee to Minimize Toxic Waste requested LBNL groundwater management plan
for June meeting. Addressed tritium exit sign as unsafe; spoke in favor of
nanoparticle regulations.
Mark Alper and Rick Kelly discussed nanoparticle
regulation with CEAC. Proposed using “engineered particle and at least one
dimension that is within 1 – 100 nanometer in dimension. Will send CEAC a HEPA
filter reports on applicability to nano-sized particles.
Tom Kelly. Chair Community Health Commission. Supported
regulation on nanoparticles.
