can take part in UC Berkeley construction. Letter to
Selawski (in agenda packet) states that trees containing
radioactive waste are sent to Korean and Japanese paper
mills.

Berkeley Lab retraction of new element discovery (news
article submitted). Can CEAC/Secretary get lab to open
RCRA meetings to public? Tritium plume should be
included in public review of RCRA process. Stack removal
issue to be pursued by regulators.

Management Division Staff Report
Arsenic
report – tested ten sites – clean bill of health for
arsenic/heavy metals.
Harrison Air Particulates. Higher than expected for PM10
however not sufficient time to evaluate health risks. PM2.5
not validated and chromium not available. LA Wood raised
concern that Council was given document first and staff was
able to put bias on the report. Questioned non-availability
of PM2.5 and Cr6 data. Later, discussion with contractor
Eric Winegar.
