Consent Calendar
Action: Moved, seconded, carried (Worthington/Maio) to adopt the Consent Calendar in one motion except as indicated:
1. Minutes for Approval (PDF, 313 KB)

Recommendation: Approve the minutes for Agency meetings of May 17, 2005 (special joint) and May 24, 2005 (special joint).

Action Calendar – Public Hearing
From: City Manager
Recommendation: Conduct a public hearing and upon conclusion, adopt the first reading of an Ordinance authorizing the City Manager/Executive Officer to extend the Time Limit on Plan Effectiveness and Collect Tax Increment for the West Berkeley Redevelopment Plan and Project Area by two additional years (for 2004/05 and 2005/06 ERAF payments) pursuant to California Health and Safety Code Section 33333.6(e)(2)(D).

Public Testimony: The Mayor opened the public hearing for both items on the public hearing calendar. No speakers. Moved, seconded, carried (Maio/Wozniak) to close the public hearing on the calendar items regarding extending the time limit and collecting a tax increment and the Five-Year Implementation Plan.
Action: Moved, seconded, carried (Worthington/Wozniak) to adopt first reading of Ordinance. Second reading scheduled for July 12, 2005.
3. Five-Year Implementation Plan (FY 2005-2009) for the West Berkeley Project Area (PDF, 1 MB)
Recommendation: Conduct a public hearing and upon conclusion, adopt a Resolution approving the Five-Year Implementation Plan (FY 2005 – 2009) for the West Berkeley Project Area.

3) FY 2006 Statement of New Indebtedness.
