Berkeley City Council ADJOURNED REGULAR Meeting

TUESDAY, JULY 17, 2007

6:30 P.M.

Council Chambers

2134 Martin Luther King Jr. Way

Teleconference Location – 1636 Channing Way, Berkeley, CA

The City Council adjourned its special meeting of Monday July 16 to this date and time to complete the matter listed below. It will be conducted in accordance with the Brown Act, Government Code Section 54953, Teleconferencing.  Any member of the public may attend this meeting at either the Council Chambers or at the teleconference location.  No further public comment will be taken since the public was already heard from on this matter at special meeting on Monday July 16.  The Council may ask questions of the staff or members of the public. Questions regarding this matter may be addressed to City Clerk Department, 981-6900.

1.       ZAB Appeal: 2701 Shattuck Avenue (PDF, 194 KB) (No new report.  Refer to March 20, 2007 for report materials)

Recommendation: Conduct a public hearing and upon conclusion, adopt a Resolution affirming the decision of the Zoning Adjustment Board to approve Use Permit No. 04-10000014 to construct a 24-unit, mixed-use project, and dismissing the appeal.

The public hearing was opened and closed on July 16, 2007.  Action recommended is to adopt a resolution as described in “Recommendation”. The matter was adjourned to Tuesday, July 17 at 6;30 p.m. to the Council Chambers at 2134 Martin Luther King Junior Way. 

No further comment will be entertained on this matter because comment was taken on this matter during a public hearing before the matter was adjourned.
