Initiation of litigation—one case
The Berkeley City Council will consider whether to
initiate litigation under the California Environmental Quality, the
Alquist-Priolo Act and other laws, challenging the anticipated approval by the
Regents of the University of California of the Southeast Campus Integrated
Projects.
Report from
Closed Session: Moved, seconded,
carried (Maio/Capitelli; Noes – Worthington) to direct the City Attorney to
hire outside legal counsel to prepare for possible legal action.
