2. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL – ANTICIPATED LITIGATION
Significant exposure to litigation pursuant to subdivision (b) of Government Code Section 54956.9.
The City Council will be conferring with the City Attorney concerning the threat of litigation against the City contained in letters dated April 19 (PDF, KB), and May 3 (PDF, KB), 2006 on file with the City Clerk claiming that the City’s public comment procedures are invalid. The City Attorney’s response to these letters issued on May 11, 2006 (PDF, 2 MB) is also on file in the City Clerk’s Office.
