Closed Session
1. Roll Call: 5:32 p.m.
Present: Councilmembers Breland, Hawley, Maio, Olds, Spring, Worthington, Wozniak, and Mayor Bates.
Absent: Councilmember Shirek.
2. Public Comment: Herschel Hollie
3. The Council will recess to closed session to discuss the appointment of a City Manager in light of the announced retirement of City Manager Weldon Rucker on November 1, 2003 as further described below.

Unrepresented Employee: New City Manager
Report from Closed Session: Moved, seconded, carried (Olds/Hawley; Absent – Shirek) to adopt Resolution No. 62,217– N.S. (PDF, 61 KB) appointing Philip Kamlarz as Acting City Manager effective November 1, 2003, with a review after six months.
