of litigation The Berkeley City Council will consider whether to initiate litigation challenging the approval by the Regents of the University of California of two components of the Underhill Area Projects (UAP), as described in the Notice of Determination dated November 16, 2000, as well as the Final Environmental Impact Report prepared thereon and certified by the Regents. The two components of the UAP that have been approved are the Central Dining and Office Facility and the College/Durant Student Housing, which require elimination of parking, removal of modular buildings containing offices, and relocation of the Fox Cottage to a site north of 2547 Channing Way that is currently used for surface parking.
