SESSION: (The Council will
recess into Closed Session immediately after 1. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL – ANTICIPATED LITIGATION – Significant exposure to litigation pursuant to subdivision (b) of Government Code section 54956.9 The City has received a letter dated July 14, 2000 from Patrick Kennedy (copy on file in the City Clerk’s office) which suggests that the City’s inclusionary housing ordinance may violate state law. In the City Attorney’s opinion there is thus a substantial exposure of the City to litigation filed to challenge such inclusionary housing requirements. The City Council will be meeting with the City Attorney to discuss this potential litigation. 2. CONFERENCE
